Things got a little heated at a recent “Baddies” event in Houston, and now reality star Tommie Lee is setting the record straight. After a fan claimed she was injured by a glass thrown from the stage, Lee took to social media to share her side of the story, and it turns out, the projectile might not have been what everyone thought!
Self-Defense or Stage Mishap?
According to Tommie Lee, she was actually the one who felt attacked first during the show. She explained in a comment on Baller Alert’s Instagram that she reacted defensively after another woman on stage allegedly targeted her. “No one is going to stand on stage and let people throw things at them,” Lee stated, implying her actions were a direct response to feeling threatened.
She expressed regret that anyone got hurt, calling the situation “unbelievable.” However, Lee is adamant that the item she threw was not a glass cup, as has been widely reported. She clarified that it was, in fact, plastic.
Plastic, Not Glass: Lee’s Defense
Lee emphasized that glass items are not permitted on set for safety reasons. “All my glasses are plastic,” she asserted, pushing back against the narrative that she endangered a fan with a glass projectile. She believes that further public commentary is just people seeking attention, especially since she and Zeus Network have reportedly already reached out.
Despite Lee’s explanation, the fan, Davion Chambers, who claims he was hit and sent to the emergency room with a gash near his eye, is reportedly planning to sue both Lee and Zeus Network. He even shared a video on TikTok showing the aftermath of the alleged incident.
