Speaking with Us Weekly, Margaret, 58, made it clear that a friendly moment between her and Teresa is off the table for now. “Some things would have to really change and it’s not the right time,” she stated. “There’s too many things in the way and it’s just not correct.”

Despite the distance, Margaret expressed concern for Teresa, acknowledging the pain and difficult situations she’s currently facing. “I don’t wish her any ill. I think she has enough pain and enough horrible things going on, and I’m concerned for her,” she shared. However, concern doesn’t translate to a desire to mend fences just yet.

Skepticism About Teresa’s Family Reunion

Margaret also weighed in on Teresa’s recent reunion with her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, which came after years of public tension. While Margaret hopes the reunion is genuine for the sake of Joe and Melissa, she admits she’s wary of Teresa’s motives.

She believes that significant family matters like this should be handled privately, perhaps in a therapeutic setting, rather than playing out in the press. “Things like this have to be done in a therapeutic setting and behind closed doors and not in the press,” Margaret advised. “Not every move you make needs to be a public statement.”

Hopes for Peace, But Not Close Ties

Margaret insisted that she has always desired peace for the Gorga and Giudice families. However, achieving that peace doesn’t necessarily mean she needs to be close to Teresa. Her focus remains on the authenticity of the family’s reconciliation, while keeping her own boundaries firmly in place.
