In the midst of ongoing divorce proceedings and swirling rumors, Offset’s representatives have reportedly denied that the rapper posted “My kid lol.” This alleged post was supposedly made in response to social media speculation about Cardi B and her boyfriend Stefon Diggs’ newborn son potentially being legally recognized as Offset’s child under Georgia paternity law.
Denials Amidst Paternity Speculation
Reports surfaced claiming Offset made several social media posts hinting at the situation, including “Divorce ain’t even finali[z]ed and you popping out another man kid 🤣🤡 #YouInTimeout” and “Already got a name for my kid. Keep yo Spanish sh*t to yourself lol.” The most contentious alleged post was reportedly on his Instagram Story: “My kid lol.”
These alleged comments gained traction as social media users highlighted Georgia law, which can presume a legally married man to be the father of a child born during the marriage. However, Offset’s team, including independent journalist Loren LoRosa and TMZ, are now calling these posts “cap” and “completely fabricated misinformation.”
Cardi B’s Response and Relationship Timeline
The alleged posts from Offset came after Cardi B herself had a strong reaction on X and X Spaces, seemingly addressing misinformation and harassment. She expressed feeling unsafe and stated that someone has an “unhealthy obsession” with her, alleging issues with “mental illness” and “substance abuse.”
To recap the complex relationship timeline: Cardi B and Offset married in 2017 and share three children. Cardi confirmed she was single in late 2023, filed for divorce, and later announced her third pregnancy with Offset in August 2024, giving birth to Blossom Belle Cephus in September 2024. Shortly after, she was linked to Stefon Diggs, and they welcomed their first child together in November 2025.
Denial and Support
Offset’s spokesperson stated, “Any statements attributed to Offset circulating on social media are completely fabricated. Cardi responded to misinformation, and the situation escalated unnecessarily. Offset has remained supportive of Cardi and genuinely wishes her nothing but the best.”
While Offset and his team deny the authenticity of the viral posts, there has been no word on who might be responsible for creating and spreading them. Offset’s brother had previously attempted to debunk the paternity claims by questioning the relevance of Georgia law if the couple wasn’t married in the state.
