Get ready, sneakerheads! Director Spike Lee, a true icon, gave us a sneak peek at an exciting new collaboration: the Levi’s x Air Jordan 3. He was spotted rocking these highly anticipated kicks at a recent New York Knicks game, and of course, he made sure to show them off.
A Courtside Debut
Lee, a devoted Knicks fan, was seen sitting courtside on November 9th, sporting the denim-clad Air Jordan 3s. The iconic silhouette gets a fresh makeover with Levi’s signature denim material, fitting perfectly with Lee’s legendary Brooklyn style. He even paired them with Knicks-themed socks and his signature blue and orange eyewear.
This collaboration is slated for a spring 2026 release, so fans will have to wait a bit to get their hands on a pair. But seeing them on Lee’s feet gives us a fantastic first look at what’s to come.
More Than Just Denim
This isn’t the first time Levi’s and Nike have joined forces. They previously released a joint sneaker back in 2008 and collaborated on an Air Jordan 4 version in 2018. Their partnership has also included a customizable Nike By You model and a three-way connection with Japanese designer Nigo.
For this upcoming Air Jordan 3 release, there are expected to be three distinct colorways. While the one Lee debuted features denim, other rumored versions include ‘Denim/Black/Gym Red’ and ‘Denim/Sail/Gym Red/Ocean Fog.’ Each pair is expected to retail around $225 and will feature the classic Nike Air branding alongside a Levi’s tag.
A Winning Game and a Stylish Reveal
Adding to the excitement of the sneaker reveal, Lee also got to witness his beloved Knicks secure a dominant 134-98 victory over their rivals, the Brooklyn Nets. It was a night of style, sports, and a major fashion moment.
