Brandy Hints at Las Vegas Residency with Monica

Hold up, did Brandy just drop a major hint about a 2026 Las Vegas residency with her longtime collaborator Monica? Fans certainly think so, and honestly, given Brandy’s history of manifesting her dreams, it might just be a real possibility!

A Surprise Announcement on Tour

During the Los Angeles stop of their highly anticipated “The Boy Is Mine Tour” – a reunion tour celebrating their iconic 1998 hit – Brandy got emotional on stage. She expressed deep gratitude to Monica for their shared journey, calling the tour a “dream come true” 27 years after their hit song.

But the real shocker came when Brandy, standing next to Monica, declared, “2026, the Brandy and Monica residency in Las Vegas.” The crowd absolutely erupted, and even Monica seemed surprised, playfully responding that she needed to discuss it with her partner. Brandy quickly added that she still needed to run the idea by Monica’s team.

Manifestation Power: Brandy’s Track Record

While it could have been a lighthearted joke, Brandy’s history suggests otherwise. Back in 2020, during their epic Verzuz battle, she repeatedly brought up the idea of a joint tour. What was then playful banter five years later became “The Boy Is Mine Tour,” proving that Brandy’s words can indeed be a powerful form of manifestation.

This potential residency would be another full-circle moment for the R&B icons. Brandy herself mentioned earlier this year how they’d been trying to tour since ’98, and it finally felt like the right time. The success of the tour clearly shows the enduring power of their collaboration.

What’s Next?

Only time will tell if Brandy’s latest manifestation – a Las Vegas residency with Monica – will come to fruition. But if their tour is any indication, fans are definitely ready for it. The chemistry and connection between these two legendary artists are undeniable, and a Vegas residency would undoubtedly be a massive hit.
