Lil Uzi Vert & Roc Nation Sued Over Harassment Claims

It’s never a good look when serious allegations surface against public figures. In a new development, rapper Lil Uzi Vert and their label Roc Nation are being sued by a former assistant. The lawsuit, filed by someone identified as ‘Jane Doe,’ brings forth claims of sexual harassment and significant labor violations, even involving Lil Uzi Vert’s girlfriend, rapper JT.

Allegations of Harassment and Exploitation

The legal documents, submitted to the California Superior Court in Los Angeles County, detail a disturbing pattern of alleged behavior. The lawsuit names Roc Nation LLC, Does 1 through 10, Symere Bysil Woods (Lil Uzi Vert’s legal name), and Uzivert LLC as defendants. The core claims include discrimination, employment violations, sexual harassment, and wage and hour issues.

According to the filing, Lil Uzi Vert is accused of persistent sexual harassment through explicit text messages and verbal comments. The former assistant claims she was forced to be available 24/7, traveling extensively across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia. This demanding schedule allegedly involved working 12-39 hour shifts without receiving any overtime pay.

Unpaid Work and Burnout

Beyond the long hours, the lawsuit also alleges that the assistant paid for business expenses out-of-pocket and was never reimbursed. She reportedly tried to address her burnout and requested a performance review, which she claims was promised by Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez. However, her concerns were allegedly ignored by management.

The alleged hostile work environment, coupled with what the suit describes as ‘drug-fueled retaliation,’ ultimately led to her constructive discharge, meaning she felt forced to resign in April 2025. The explicit texts cited in the lawsuit include phrases like, ‘Come rub me down before you leave,’ ‘I’m by myself right now send me something,’ and ‘You’re more than my assistant. You’re my b*tch.’

Seeking Damages and Accountability

The former assistant is seeking compensatory and punitive damages from all named parties. She claims to have experienced severe emotional distress, financial loss, and systemic abuse that was allegedly tolerated by Lil Uzi Vert’s management team. The case is currently scheduled for court on March 25, 2026.
