Diddy’s First Prison Job: Laundry Room Duty

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is reportedly settling into life behind bars at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. According to recent reports, the music mogul has already been assigned his first job within the correctional facility: running the inmate laundry room.

A New Role Behind Bars

TMZ shared a photo of Diddy in the prison yard, sporting a beanie and jacket, and a full gray beard – a stark contrast to his usually well-groomed appearance. This marks the first image of the Bad Boy Records founder since his arrest in September 2024. His new role involves washing and drying clothes for fellow inmates.

Sources close to the situation highlighted the irony, noting that prosecutors had previously claimed Diddy relied heavily on his assistants for even the simplest tasks, like charging his phone or getting a drink. This new responsibility in the laundry room presents a significant shift from his life as a high-profile businessman.

Sentence and Release Projection

Diddy was transferred to Fort Dix early Thursday morning. He had previously been held at MDC Brooklyn, a higher-security facility, while awaiting trial. He is serving a 50-month sentence, with a projected release date of May 8, 2028. However, his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has expressed optimism that Diddy might be released sooner than anticipated.
