Get ready for a treat! Offset has just dropped a surprise album, and it’s perfectly timed for Halloween. Titled ‘Haunted By Fame,’ the project arrived at midnight, sparking excitement among fans who are hoping for a vibe similar to the 2017 trap classic, ‘Without Warning.’
A Nod to ‘Without Warning’
Remember Halloween 2017? Offset, along with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin, dropped the 10-song album ‘Without Warning.’ It quickly became a fan favorite, celebrated for its strong trap sound and nostalgic feel. Tracks like “Ghostface Killers” featuring Travis Scott and Quavo, alongside solo hits like “Ric Flair Drip” and “My Choppa Hate N****s,” showcased the energy of the trap subgenre at the time.
The album’s chilling, nightmarish beats made it a perfect soundtrack for the spooky holiday, leading many fans to hope for a sequel. While a direct follow-up might not be on the horizon, ‘Haunted By Fame’ seems poised to capture a similar spirit.
Fans React to the Surprise Release
Offset teased the release on Instagram, captioning a post with, “HAUNTED BY FAME….TONIGHT.” This marks another busy year for the former Migos rapper, who already released his third solo studio album, ‘KIARI,’ earlier in 2025. Fans on platforms like X are already expressing their excitement, with one user writing, “Offset + Halloween release date?? We getting another classic.” Another added, “Hope there’s some Without Warning style vibes on here [jack o’ lantern emoji].”
Details like the tracklist, features, and producers for ‘Haunted By Fame’ are still emerging, given the short notice. However, many are hoping for the return of familiar collaborators, especially Metro Boomin, who was instrumental in shaping the sound of ‘Without Warning.’ Regardless of whether it’s a direct sequel, the anticipation is high.
More Music on the Horizon?
This surprise drop might not be the last we hear from Offset in the near future. Following the releases of ‘KIARI’ and ‘The Last Wun,’ Gunna teased that a joint project with his frequent collaborator is also in the works. It seems Offset is keeping the momentum going strong.
