Her last presidential bid in 2024 was unique, stepping in to carry the Democratic banner after President Joe Biden withdrew just 107 days before Election Day. Despite a spirited campaign against Donald Trump, she ultimately fell short. Following the election, Harris reflected on the experience, even releasing her memoir, “107 Days,” which offered an inside look at the intense campaign.

Initially, her post-campaign reflections suggested a shift away from the capital, writing about being “with the people” rather than in the “ceremonial office.” However, her recent comments suggest a renewed focus on national leadership. When asked about the prospect of a woman president within her young nieces’ lifetime, she confidently stated, “Within their lifetime for sure,” and when pressed if that woman could be her, she reiterated, “Possibly.”
