Drake’s New Hairstyle Sparks Sexuality Jokes

Drake’s birthday is always a big event, and this year, the rapper turned 39 on October 24th, 2025. To celebrate, he shared a selfie on his Instagram Story with former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel, affectionately known as ‘Johnny Football.’ However, it wasn’t just the company that got people talking; Drake’s new, looser curly hairstyle also ignited a fresh wave of social media commentary.

Social Media Reacts to Drake’s Look

As is often the case with Drake’s public image, his latest hairstyle has become a target for jokes and critiques. Many social media users, particularly on platforms like Twitter, reverted to homophobic and ageist remarks, echoing criticisms from years past. Comments ranged from observations about his age – “Pushing 40” – to playful, yet pointed, remarks about the photo’s vibe.

Some fans took the opportunity to joke about Drake’s sexuality, with one user commenting, “glad to see he finally came out, and is willing to pose with his boyfriend in public, so proud.” Another critic questioned, “Why is brother always looking so zesty?” These reactions highlight the ongoing scrutiny Drake faces regarding his public persona and style choices.

The ‘ICEMAN’ Album Connection

Beyond the hairstyle jokes, the photo also reignited speculation about Drake’s upcoming album, reportedly titled ‘ICEMAN.’ This isn’t the first time Manziel has been linked to the project; he previously previewed the album in August, suggesting a late October or early November release. Manziel’s own Instagram posts have hinted at his travels and connection to Drake, fueling the anticipation.

Manziel shared a cryptic post detailing recent travels and mentioning “Iceman time” and a birthday celebration, leading many fans to believe the album might drop on Halloween (October 31st) or around that time. While a surprise drop isn’t confirmed, the connection between Drake, Manziel, and the ‘ICEMAN’ album remains a hot topic.
