The whole situation kicked off when Soulja Boy caught wind that Kandi had former videographer Charlie Rocket on her podcast, “Speak On It.” During the episode, Rocket shared a rather unflattering story about his time working with Soulja Boy back in 2007, detailing an alleged incident involving a large room service order and some leftover chicken fingers.

Rocket recounted how Soulja Boy ordered $1,000 worth of room service at the Bellagio. When Rocket asked if he could have some of the leftover food because he was hungry, he claims Soulja Boy then spat on it. This story, shared on Kandi’s platform, clearly didn’t sit well with the rapper.

Soulja Boy’s Fiery Response

Upon hearing Rocket’s story, Soulja Boy took to his livestream and unleashed a barrage of insults directed at both Rocket and Kandi. He questioned why Kandi would have Rocket on her show and threatened legal action against her. He also personally attacked Kandi, using offensive language and calling her names.

Soulja Boy then declared he was in Atlanta and demanded Kandi’s address, seemingly wanting to confront her directly to tell his side of the story. This aggressive reaction certainly escalated the situation.

Kandi’s Invitation: ‘Let’s Speak On It!’

True to her style, Kandi didn’t let Soulja Boy’s insults slide. She took to Twitter to address the situation head-on, making it clear she heard his rant and wasn’t intimidated. She even invited him to follow through on his threat to “pull up.”

Her tweet read: “I heard @souljaboy was cussing me out on his live & said he wanted to pull up… Well I would love for you to pull up. Let’s speak on it!” This direct challenge suggests Kandi is ready to have a conversation and clear the air, rather than engage in a public back-and-forth.

Adding to the online chatter, Kandi also shared a post on Instagram, seemingly related to the podcast episode that started it all. The post features a reel that likely includes clips or highlights from Charlie Rocket’s appearance on “Speak On It.”
