About ‘St. Denis Medical’
For those unfamiliar, ‘St. Denis Medical’ is a mockumentary-style comedy that hilariously follows the dedicated, albeit chaotic, staff of an underfunded Oregon hospital. Created by Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer, the show delves into their struggles to balance treating patients, managing crises, and navigating their own personal dramas.
The series boasts a fantastic ensemble cast, including Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, and Josh Lawson. Season two promises even more star power with guest appearances from Ariana Madix, Kristen Schaal, and now, Draymond Green!
Critical Acclaim and Ratings Success
Don’t let the comedy fool you; ‘St. Denis Medical’ has earned significant critical acclaim. Its first season garnered a Critics’ Choice nomination for Best Comedy Series, and David Alan Grier received individual award nods. The show was also a ratings hit, reaching 35 million total viewers and becoming NBC’s number one new show of the 2024-25 season in the key 18-49 demographic.
With Draymond Green joining the cast for season two, expect even more buzz. The new season, featuring his premiere appearance, airs Monday, November 3rd, with back-to-back episodes from 8–9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. You can also catch up on season one, which is currently streaming on Peacock.
