TMZ managed to locate court documents that confirm her divorce from Thiemo was finalized last year, with the final decree entered on December 16. While the case remains sealed, the confirmation is undeniable.
The drama unfolded during the Season 10 premiere when Ashley Darby, with support from Gizelle Bryant, began questioning Stacey’s marital status due to a lack of readily available public records. Despite Stacey’s repeated assertions that she and Thiemo were no longer legally married, the tension and doubt among the cast were palpable.
Setting the Record Straight
The situation came to a head at castmate Angel Massie’s Truth & Tranquilitea Party. Stacey, determined to put the rumors to rest, confronted Ashley directly. “I’ve been praying about us a lot… you questioning my divorce and other things about my character,” Stacey stated calmly during the tense exchange.
She explained her hesitation in presenting the proof earlier, noting, “The reason that I didn’t show this to you at your ball is because it wasn’t the time or the place, and I didn’t have a chance to speak to my husband about showing a document that is so sensitive and serious.” Stacey then declared, “We are divorced,” before adding a surprising twist: “and we are getting back together.”
