Diddy’s Twins Opt Out of College for Entrepreneurship

As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ daughters, twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs, have grown up in the public eye. Now, at 18, they’re confidently stepping into adulthood and making their own mark, particularly in the fashion and social media world. While many young adults head to college after high school, these ambitious twins have chosen a different path, focusing on entrepreneurship and their burgeoning careers.

A Business-Focused Future

Following their high school graduation, Jessie and D’Lila announced their decision not to pursue higher education at this time. Instead, they are dedicating their full energy to entrepreneurship, fashion, and modeling. This choice reflects a clear ambition to build their own business ventures and expand their influence in the entertainment industry.

In a now-deleted TikTok, D’Lila shared their perspective: “Since Jessie and I are not going college, we’re gonna be wearing one of our brand hoodies… Because we’re repping that we’re gonna be business owners, period.” Jessie added, “And working!” This statement underscores their commitment to forging their own path to success.

Launching Their Own Brand: 12TWINTY1

The twins have already taken significant steps toward their entrepreneurial goals. In 2025, they launched their own clothing line, aptly named 12TWINTY1. This name is a nod to their shared birthday, December 21st, and it embodies values of boldness, leadership, connection, and harmony – qualities that resonate deeply with their twin bond.

The launch was announced on Instagram, where the sisters shared a clip explaining the significance of the brand name. “The connection we have is just beyond words, and that connection is the heart of our brand,” D’Lila explained. They elaborated that ‘1 is bold, fearless, and marks the beginning of something powerful. 2 speaks to love, connection, and harmony, the essence of our twin hood.’ Their brand aims to represent ‘identity, confidence, and being seen.’

A Legacy in Fashion

Jessie and D’Lila’s interest in fashion isn’t entirely new. Their mother, the late Kim Porter, had a successful modeling career, and it seems the twins are following in her footsteps. Even as preteens, they expressed their love for modeling, enjoying the spotlight and showcasing their style.

They’ve already walked in major fashion shows, including for luxury brands like Dolce & Gabbana, and continue to leverage their modeling exposure. With their own brand and a clear vision for the future, Jessie and D’Lila Combs are proving that a traditional college path isn’t the only route to success in today’s world.
