Cherished Memories and Unfulfilled Wishes
Archer expressed her deep love for her father and her wish for more time together. “I love you so much Daddy. I wish I had more time to spend with you. For you to show me new music, play piano with me to our favorite songs, or to go back and forward about our favorite go to meals,” she wrote. She celebrated his unique spirit, calling him “a one of a kind soul” and expressing gratitude that he “chose me to be your daughter.”
The R&B legend passed away at the age of 51 after a private battle with pancreatic cancer.
