Boosie Badazz’s fiancée, Rajel Nelson, is giving fans an unfiltered look into her life, including the surprising place she was working when she first met the rapper. During a candid Instagram Live session, captured by LiveBitez, Rajel opened up about her past and her relationship with Boosie, who she’s been with for years and is now engaged to.
From IHOP Hostess to Hip-Hop Royalty
When a fan asked how she and Boosie first connected, Rajel revealed, “When I was working as a hostess at IHOP.” She shared this with no hesitation, embracing her past. When a commenter tried to shade her by asking if she was “broke, broke” at the time, Rajel quickly shut it down. “I was never broke, I had a dollar in my account,” she clapped back with a laugh, adding, “Don’t even ever try to shade me like that.”
Rajel also touched on the dynamics of her relationship with Boosie, admitting that they do argue, but their disagreements are short-lived. “We could argue about something so stupid, and I promise you, we’re back talking like nothing happened within minutes. That’s just how we are,” she explained. Now 30, she mentioned she’s always been drawn to older men and has spent her entire 20s with Boosie. When asked if he spoils her, she playfully teased, “Let’s talk about it… That’s a man, okay! That’s all I’ma say.”
A Wild Encounter with a Fake Marriage Certificate
In a particularly wild revelation, Rajel shared a story about a woman who sent Boosie a forged marriage certificate and a ring, claiming they were married. Instead of getting upset, Rajel decided to keep the ring for herself. “In a nice little card for my fiancé, saying they got married,” Rajel recounted while snacking with their baby girl, Sevyn, nearby. “But this is the ring, girl, I’m gonna wear this ring. So I’m just gonna take your ring, I appreciate it.”
She found the situation amusing, noting that the woman had even forged Boosie’s signature. Rajel playfully sang Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” embracing the absurdity of the situation and quipping, “Sis said, ‘Not my man.’”
Setting the Record Straight on Body Modifications
Rajel also recently addressed persistent rumors about her body, particularly regarding BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) procedures. She clarified that she has never had a BBL, but has undergone Lipo 360 twice – once when she had breast augmentation and again when she had implants removed. She stated that her body has been untouched for the past five years, including after giving birth to their daughter.
She credited her post-baby figure to invasive Lipo 360, which she said snatched her waist and boosted her curves, and also gave a shoutout to motherhood for enhancing her figure. “As you can see, I still have my hip dips. Everything is just wide now ever since I had a baby,” she explained, crediting her daughter for the added shape.
