Raq Baby Drops “I NEVER GAVE AF”

Get ready, because Chicago/Atlanta rapper Raq Baby is back and dropping his most substantial project yet! After a busy 2025 filled with singles and a follow-up tape, he’s capping off his rise with the release of his new album, “I NEVER GAVE AF.”

His Longest LP to Date

The 20-year-old artist, who’s already been turning heads at outlets like XXL, is capitalizing on the buzz he’s generated this year. “I NEVER GAVE AF” stands as his longest LP to date. While he does have a project with more songs, 2024’s “Abstruse” (which clocks in at 26 tracks due to a deluxe version), this new album is packed with fresh material.

This project features some of Raq Baby’s viral hits from 2025, including the catchy “Stick Up,” which samples Childish Gambino. You’ll also find other standout singles like “Toy Story,” “Switch Crowd,” and “Mental Breakdown” – a track that perfectly embodies his signature style.

A Unique Sound and Big Features

If you’re new to Raq Baby’s music, imagine an early Lil Uzi Vert vibe. He excels at creating intoxicating, low-key moods through his melodic delivery and smart production choices. But what sets him apart is how he weaves his life experiences, growing up in one of the U.S.’s most dangerous cities, into his music.

This album is also a significant moment for Raq Baby because it boasts his biggest features to date. Leading the guest list are fellow Chicago drill veteran G Herbo and the talented Toosii. These collaborations are sure to bring even more momentum to his developing career.
