GloRilla is definitely not letting Young Thug’s leaked comments slide! After the YSL rapper made some rather harsh remarks about her appearance, Glo’s decided to clap back with a perfectly petty troll, and she chose the VMAs as her stage.
The Leaked Comments That Sparked the Drama
As previously reported, leaked conversations from Young Thug’s time incarcerated revealed some unflattering opinions. In one particular call, he was heard mocking GloRilla’s looks after Mariah The Scientist mentioned people thought they resembled each other. Thugger’s comments were harsh, calling her “ugly as f***” and describing her with a “long ass bulls*** a a wig, skinny s***, God damn big a** head, big mouth.”
Following the leak, Young Thug did issue an apology to GloRilla, referring to her as his “twin” and attributing his rant to the difficulties of being behind bars. GloRilla, for her part, seemed to take it in stride at the time, telling fans to focus on Beyoncé’s birthday instead.
GloRilla’s VMA Trolling Masterpiece
But now, Glo’s decided it’s time for a little fun at Thugger’s expense. On Sunday, the stylish rapper posted photos from her VMAs look, where she sported a sharp menswear-inspired Helen Anthony dress. The caption? A direct jab: “Brianna.”
This was a direct reference to Young Thug’s comment comparing her unfavorably to Rihanna, saying, “Rihanna? More like Brianna.” To add another layer of pettiness, GloRilla included the track “Rihanna” by her CMG label head, Yo Gotti, which, ironically, features Young Thug himself. Ouch!
Young Thug’s Response
In true internet fashion, Young Thug hopped into GloRilla’s comments section to respond with a few heart emojis. While some fans interpreted this as acceptance of the apology, others felt it was a weak response to Glo’s epic troll.
