Who says you can’t channel your inner princess at the happiest place on Earth? Actress Storm Reid recently took a trip to Walt Disney World, and she absolutely slayed, bringing major main character energy to the theme parks. It looks like she had a magical time filled with fun, friends, family, and of course, some delicious food!
A Magical Adventure
Storm Reid, known for her roles in films like ‘A Wrinkle In Time,’ recently revisited her ‘happy place.’ She wasn’t just there for the vibes; she was also experiencing some of the resort’s most exciting attractions and mouth-watering culinary offerings. From classic treats like Dole Whip to thrilling new rides, Storm made sure to soak it all in.
Her adventure included zipping into the future on TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom, embarking on an epic safari on Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and rocking out on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. It sounds like a jam-packed itinerary for any Disney fan!
Disney Dining Delights
Beyond the rides, Storm also shared some of her favorite spots to grab a bite. She gave a shout-out to Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ at Disney Springs for its amazing chicken and Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for its delicious BBQ. But the real star of her culinary tour? Morimoto Asia, also at Disney Springs.
Morimoto (at Disney Springs) is my favorite. I’m a big sushi lover. Big Japanese food lover. The spare ribs are probably the best. Not probably. I know (they) are the best spare ribs I’ve ever had because they’re crispy on the outside and the sauce was so good and then it was so tender, like, fall off the bone. — Storm Reid
She raved about the spare ribs, describing them as perfectly crispy on the outside, tender, and fall-off-the-bone delicious, all thanks to the incredible sauce. It’s clear that Morimoto Asia has earned a top spot in her Disney dining preferences!
The Disney Experience
Walt Disney World Resort attracts over 160,000 guests daily, and it’s become a huge trend for friend groups to turn their trips into themed ‘baddiecations,’ often going viral on social media. The idea is simple: if you’re not at Disney repping your favorite character with your favorite people, are you really doing it right?
Storm Reid’s visit is a perfect example of how to embrace the magic of Disney, blending thrilling adventures with fantastic food and great company. It makes you wonder, who wouldn’t want to experience that kind of joy?
