Kelli Ferrell’s Ex Sues Bravo Over RHOA ‘Lies’

Chuvalo “Mark” Ferrell, the former husband of Kelli Ferrell from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is taking legal action against Bravo and the Rockdale County Clerk of Court. Ferrell alleges that his 2022 divorce proceedings were mishandled and that the reality show’s narrative has unfairly damaged his life and business.

Allegations of Defamation and Judicial Misconduct

Speaking outside the Rockdale County Courthouse, Ferrell announced his intention to sue for defamation, malicious prosecution, and civil rights violations. He believes both the network and the court system contributed to the downfall of his personal and professional life after his split from Kelli, whom he married in 2011. Ferrell claims the divorce proceedings were marred by judicial misconduct and abuse of power.

A key point of contention is the ownership of Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles. Ferrell asserts that despite providing documentation proving his co-ownership, the court favored Kelli’s claim of sole ownership, effectively stripping him of his stake in the business. He stated that crucial evidence, including signed agreements and tax filings, was disregarded.

Denials and Accusations Against Court Officials

Ferrell vehemently denies Kelli’s allegations that he stole nearly $500,000 from the business or neglected child support. He explained that funds were safeguarded due to concerns about reckless personal spending, as advised by their business partner. He also claims to have repaid loan money by December 2022, contradicting Kelli’s assertion that the loan was never repaid.

He further accused Rockdale County Clerk Janice Morris of displaying bias by allegedly celebrating the ruling against him on social media. Ferrell also claims Judge Nancy Bills acted with hostility, denied him legal representation, insulted him, ordered unjust jail time, and coerced asset transfers under threat.

Targeting Bravo for Defamation

Mark Ferrell directly addressed Bravo, accusing the network of profiting from lies that could not be sustained and airing his daughters’ lives on national television without his consent. “And Bravo, your hands are not clean. You gave airtime to lies that you knew could not be sustained. You put my daughters on national TV without my permission. You built a storyline to destroy my name for entertainment. This is defamation. It will not stand,” he declared.

He stated his intention to sue all parties involved in what he deems an unjust process, including those who allegedly withheld his children, stole his money, illegally sold his home, and abused their public office. Ferrell shared these allegations on Instagram, claiming he was never properly served in the divorce case but that the judge proceeded regardless.

While Kelli Ferrell has not yet responded to the lawsuit, this legal battle comes shortly after she announced the opening of a new Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles location. The situation highlights the complex and often contentious intersection of reality television, personal lives, and the legal system.
