Singer, songwriter, and producer Amaria is back with her second single of the summer, “Dream Of You.” Since launching her career in 2020, Amaria has steadily built a dedicated fanbase with a string of singles, EPs like *Bittersweet* and *All For You*, and her debut album *Free Fallin’*. Her latest track continues to highlight her signature jazzy, neo-soul sound.
A Dreamy, Soulful Soundscape
Musically, “Dream Of You” is a smooth and relaxing track, featuring a prominent bass line, jazz-influenced keyboard melodies, and a steady rhythm section. Amaria’s ethereal and soothing vocals float over the quality musicianship, creating a truly dreamy atmosphere. The song beautifully captures the feeling of intense infatuation, where a love interest occupies one’s thoughts constantly.
Amaria expresses these deep emotions through lyrics like, “It’s the first night, I look into your eyes, baby / In the moonlight, you can’t escape my mind.” The chorus perfectly encapsulates this sentiment: “Late at night I only dream of you / When I’m dreaming ’bout you / Feeling right I only dream of you.”
Visuals and Anticipation for More Music
The single was released alongside a captivating visual that features Amaria in a desert landscape, surrounded by sand dunes. Her long boho braids flow as she moves to the music, dressed in autumnal-inspired clothing. The video’s aesthetic perfectly complements the song’s dreamy and introspective mood.
“Dream Of You” follows Amaria’s previous single, “All I’d Ever Know,” which has been a hit since its June release. With these two strong back-to-back releases, fans are hopeful that Amaria is working on her next album, eager to witness her continued musical growth.
