King Harris’ 2024 Arrest Footage Released

King Harris, the son of rapper T.I., has recently been in the news due to the release of video footage from his 2024 arrest in Georgia. The incident sheds light on a challenging period for the young artist, who has faced legal troubles stemming from a 2022 case.

Details Emerge from the Arrest Footage

The nearly 30-minute video, posted by the YouTube channel Badge Chronicles and reported by Vlad TV, captures the events that unfolded in October. It begins as King Harris nearly collided with a police car while leaving a gas station. As officers approached his BMW, they detected the smell of marijuana and noticed a firearm on his hip.

A check of his records revealed an active warrant for his arrest. This warrant originated from a 2022 incident involving charges of speeding, driving with a suspended license, and a DUI, issued after Harris failed to appear in court. An officer described the arrest as cooperative, noting that the firearm was removed without issue before Harris was detained and placed in the patrol vehicle.

A Calm Demeanor Amidst Frustration

The footage reportedly shows King Harris expressing frustration with the situation, though both he and the authorities remained generally calm throughout the process. Following his handcuffing in Dunwoody, he was transferred to the DeKalb County Jail. Subsequently, a recall order for the bench warrant led to his transfer to Pickens County.

This legal trouble occurred shortly before a significant personal event for King Harris. In November, he and the mother of his child, known as Big Na Na, welcomed their son, King Jr. To commemorate the occasion, Harris released a song titled “Dear Son,” dedicated to his newborn baby boy.
