A Career-Defining Moment with Lil’ Kim
One of the highlights of Honey Bxby’s career so far was her electrifying performance at the BET Awards 2025 Pre-Show. She teamed up with the legendary Lil’ Kim to deliver a remix of Honey Bxby’s standout track, “Left Eye,” which cleverly samples Mobb Deep’s classic “Quiet Storm.” Describing the experience to VIBE, Honey Bxby admitted to feeling incredibly nervous, even shaking, before taking the stage for the first time with such a high-profile performance and choreography.
Looking back, she’s incredibly proud of the outcome, noting the extensive preparation involved. “I detoxed. I cut off alcohol,” she shared, emphasizing the long rehearsals needed to build muscle memory for the choreography. “That was my first time doing choreo like that, especially on-camera.” She also prioritized rest to ensure she was at her best for the demanding week.
Summer of Success and Future Plans
The momentum didn’t stop there for Honey Bxby. Following the BET Awards, she was named the BET Amplified Artist for July, graced the stage at the 2025 ESSENCE Festival, and performed at the Rise Up NYC concert series. For Honey Bxby, these achievements are all part of a well-executed plan. She’s promised her fans “the best music possible” and declared, “Iām coming for the number one spot, just for you guys.”
Her ‘Raw Honey’ EP is a testament to her dedication, featuring personal experiences woven into relatable R&B tracks. It’s clear that Honey Bxby is an artist with a clear vision and the talent to back it up. Her journey is one to watch as she continues to make her mark on the music industry.
