It looks like things are getting serious between Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak. The former NFL player has officially filed for sole custody of the four minor children he shares with the ‘RHOA’ alum, making some pretty heavy accusations in the process.
Biermann Seeks Full Custody
According to court documents filed on August 15th, the 39-year-old is requesting primary custody and complete decision-making authority for their children: 11-year-old twins Kaia and Kane, 13-year-old Kash, and 14-year-old Kroy Jr. Biermann also adopted Zolciak’s older daughters, Ariana (23) and Brielle (28), after they married in 2011.
In his filing, Biermann expressed significant concern for the children’s well-being, labeling Zolciak a “tormentor and abuser.” He also pointed to a “noteworthy absence of structure and accountability in the Mother’s home,” suggesting the current shared custody arrangement isn’t in the kids’ best interests. He claims three of their children are experiencing academic struggles, with Zolciak frequently picking them up early from school.
Zolciak’s Team Responds
A representative for Kim Zolciak has strongly refuted Biermann’s claims. In a statement to PEOPLE, the rep called the allegations “completely false, misleading, and deeply hurtful.” They emphasized that Zolciak is a “devoted, loving, and attentive mother” who prioritizes her children’s needs and has been their “primary emotional anchor,” ensuring a stable home environment.
The statement further characterized Biermann’s actions as a “publicity stunt,” accusing him of filing unsealed documents to “manipulate headlines” while Zolciak remains focused on co-parenting. It seems this custody battle is far from over, and the public will likely be watching closely.
