The ladies of OWN’s “Heart & Hustle: Houston” are getting a closer look at Chloe Cook’s new relationship. In an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode, Chloe introduces her boyfriend, Jordan, to the group, and the reactions are mixed but mostly positive.
Introducing the ‘Chocolate Cutie’
Chloe, an event planner, proudly brings Jordan to a pool party, despite him being 17 years her junior. While Chloe is clearly smitten, referring to him as her “chocolate cutie” and a “nubian prince,” not everyone in the group is immediately impressed. LeBrina, the spa owner, expresses some skepticism, admitting they were “waiting to see if Jordan is fine or not.”
However, the other ladies seem to approve. Alaina compliments Jordan’s looks, saying, “I had nothing bad to say, I love a little vanilla and chocolate moment.” La’Torria tells Chloe she “did good,” and Muneera adds, “I get it, I see why you act the way you do… He’s looking like a nubian prince. Tall, dark, handsome, chocolate! Girl, he look good.”
Chloe Feels the Love
With the ladies’ approval, Chloe feels validated. She notes, “When Jordan walked in, all the ladies’ jaws dropped, married ones and all.” This positive reception clearly boosts her confidence in her new relationship.
What to Expect in the New Episode
The new episode, titled “Very Cutesy, Very Demure,” airs Saturday, August 16th, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN. Besides Chloe’s relationship reveal, the episode will feature LeBrina treating some women to a spa day, Muneera confronting La’Torria, Roe seeking therapy, and an awkward moment between Alaina and Josh regarding renewing their vows.
