    Who Are Labubus?

Labubus are the delightful creations of Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung. First introduced in his 2015 picture book series, “The Monsters,” which draws inspiration from Nordic fairytales, Labubus are depicted as over 100 different elfish characters. Lung’s collaboration with Pop Mart began in 2019, transforming these characters into collectible toys that have recently surged in popularity as fashionable bag charms and even highly coveted, high-value collectibles.

  • Hero Saves Kid on Hersheypark Monorail Track

A moment of panic turned into a display of bravery at Hersheypark this past Saturday when a young boy found himself in a precarious situation. The incident, captured on video, shows the child walking along the elevated monorail track, separated from his parents.

    How the Dramatic Rescue Unfolded

The drama began around 5 p.m. when park officials were alerted that a boy had gone missing. While staff initiated a search, the child managed to enter a fenced-off area designated for the monorail. According to park officials, the ride was closed and barricaded at the time. The boy spent about 20 minutes at the station before deciding to walk onto the track itself.

That’s when a vigilant park guest sprang into action. The viral video shows a true hero climbing a nearby structure to access the monorail track. He then carefully retrieved the child and, with assistance from another person on the ground, safely lowered the boy to safety. It was a truly clutch and heroic moment!

    Safety and Swift Response

Hersheypark staff were quick to respond to the situation. By 5:28 p.m., the boy was safely reunited with his family, unharmed. The park issued a statement expressing gratitude to guests for their attentiveness and commending their team for their rapid response, emphasizing their commitment to guest safety.

This frightening incident occurred just over a month after a tragic accident at the park’s wave pool, where a 9-year-old girl lost her life. Authorities ruled that death an accident, confirming that the park had adhered to all safety standards.
