Things got heated between streamer PlaqueBoyMax and fans of pop star Doja Cat this week. After a ban from Doja’s Twitch channel, PlaqueBoyMax didn’t hold back, unleashing a fiery response directed at her fanbase.
The Twitch Ban That Sparked Drama
The whole situation kicked off when PlaqueBoyMax gifted 20 subscriptions on Doja Cat’s Twitch stream, only to be immediately banned by her moderators. While Doja Cat herself later apologized for the ban and even stated she’d be removing some of her moderators, some of her dedicated fans, often referred to as ‘stans,’ weren’t ready to let it go.
PlaqueBoyMax’s Fiery Retort
During his own stream, PlaqueBoyMax addressed the hate he was receiving. “Now I see all her stan fans hating on me,” he stated. “First of all, all y’all can suck my d*ck. Second of all, why is y’all hating on me, bro? I f*ck with y’all’s artist. I f*ck with Doja Cat. Like, why do they be on my d*ck?” He urged Doja’s fans to stop focusing their energy on him.
He continued, suggesting that if Doja Cat wanted to play games like Fortnite, that was her choice, and if she wanted to apologize, she would. He made it clear he wasn’t concerned with the fans’ opinions, telling them to “shut the f*ck up” and inviting Doja Cat to join him for a game of Fortnite on stream.
Doja Cat’s Apology and Fan Response
Doja Cat took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the incident. “Getting rid of some of my mods for banning plaquboymax cuz that wasn’t even my idea and i don’t appreciate people doing that when he didn’t do anything wrong,” she posted. When fans tried to link the ban to PlaqueBoyMax’s past criticism of her *Scarlet* album, she responded emphatically, “I don’t f*ckin care???”
This streaming drama unfolds as Doja Cat is currently on her ‘Tour Ma Vie World Tour,’ with more North American dates scheduled for October and December. It seems even global tours don’t stop the online chatter!
