  • Travis Scott’s Manager Linked to Smear Campaign

In the fast-paced world of entertainment, reputations can be fragile. Now, Travis Scott’s manager, David Stromberg, finds himself at the center of a developing scandal, allegedly linked to coordinated Hollywood smear campaigns. These serious allegations have surfaced through court documents related to a lawsuit concerning the film ‘It Ends With Us.’

    Allegations from Court Documents

According to The Hollywood Reporter, rumors emerged from an evidence exhibit in a lawsuit filed by publicist Stephanie Jones. This exhibit reportedly includes a redacted 2024 group chat conversation. In it, David Stromberg is alleged to have coordinated with crisis adviser Melissa Nathan and digital fixer Jed Wallace.

The group chat allegedly shows Stromberg and his peers discussing plans to find and disseminate disparaging information about an unnamed adversary on a “ghost platform.” These same individuals are reportedly linked to smear campaigns against figures like Rebel Wilson, Scooter Braun, and wellness influencer Andrew Huberman. While Wilson has denied the accusations, Braun and Huberman have yet to comment.

    Redacted Messages and Astroworld Connection?

Adding another layer of intrigue, the alleged group chat exchange reportedly contains redacted messages. These obscured sections are said to contain references to Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival, the site of a tragic crowd crush in 2021 that resulted in multiple fatalities. The redacted messages also allegedly allude to an unspecified group dropping unspecified charges.

Stromberg allegedly referred to his group chat colleagues as “the dream team” and his “favorite.” Jed Wallace reportedly discussed having an “infrastructure” plan that required a “secure process.” Stromberg also allegedly requested a statement of work for an individual referred to as “him,” though it remains unclear if this refers to an actor or another party.

    Denials and Ongoing Investigations

None of the individuals directly involved in the alleged group chat have officially commented to The Hollywood Reporter. However, Hollywood litigator Bryan Freedman, who is reportedly facing his own defamation lawsuit related to these smear campaigns, has previously denied any misconduct. Melissa Nathan, who has reportedly represented Travis Scott for years, allegedly outlined a comprehensive strategy involving legal, crisis PR, media, and digital tactics to combat alleged extortion schemes.

  • gamma Sues Over Defamation: Claims of Inflated Ye Streams

It appears Larry Jackson’s entertainment company, gamma, is fighting back against what it calls a coordinated online smear campaign. The company has filed a lawsuit in New York State Supreme Court, aiming to unmask the anonymous individuals behind two websites making serious allegations of financial misconduct and streaming manipulation.

    Accusations and Denials

The websites in question, “larryjacksonexposed.com” and “gammaexposed.com,” reportedly surfaced shortly after a positive feature on Jackson’s rise in the music industry. Gamma argues that the allegations are entirely fabricated and designed to tarnish the company’s reputation. These claims include accusations that sales for Kanye West’s album ‘Vultures’ were artificially boosted using bots.

The lawsuit documents detail inflammatory language used on the sites, including claims that Jackson has significantly depleted his raised funds and that gamma is “embezzling investor funds for private flights, grandiose lifestyle, personal PR and legacy artist signings to enhance image and status.” These accusations paint a picture of financial impropriety and misuse of investor capital.

    Targeting Artists and Spreading Disinformation

The alleged smear campaign didn’t stop at gamma and Jackson. The websites also targeted artists associated with the company, such as Mariah Carey and Usher. False claims suggested that gamma was “laundering” money for Carey and that major talent was quietly departing due to manipulated streaming figures.

Gamma vehemently denies all these accusations. The company believes there was a deliberate social media operation to spread these false claims. They allege that numerous newly created X (formerly Twitter) accounts amplified links to the websites rapidly, and similar messages appeared on Reddit before certain accounts were banned. Investigators have reportedly struggled to identify the culprits due to hidden hosting information and anonymous web infrastructure.

    Seeking Justice

In response to this alleged defamation, gamma is not only seeking damages but also the complete removal of the websites. They are pushing for a jury trial to clear their name and hold those responsible accountable for the damage caused to their business and reputation.
