  • James Harden’s Custom Rolls-Royce: A Playoff Statement

Talk about making an entrance! James Harden didn’t just show up for the NBA playoffs; he arrived in a statement piece. For Game 1 of the Cavaliers’ playoff series, he rolled up in a custom white Rolls-Royce, and get this – it’s named the ‘Playoffs V10’. This isn’t just any luxury car; it’s a rolling billboard for his signature Adidas Harden Vol. 10 sneakers.

A Match Made in Automotive and Sneaker Heaven

The ‘Playoffs V10’ Rolls-Royce is a masterpiece of coordination. Its pristine white exterior is perfectly complemented by a teal illuminated grille, a direct nod to the blue colorway of his Harden Vol. 10 playoff shoes. It’s clear that every detail was meticulously planned to create a cohesive look.

And Harden himself? He completed the ensemble by stepping out in a matching all-white linen outfit, paired with the very same white and blue Harden Vol. 10s. This level of intentional styling shows a player who understands the power of presentation, both on and off the court.

More Than Just a Ride: A Championship Mindset

This isn’t just about flashy cars and matching shoes; it’s about Harden’s mindset heading into the postseason. Acquired by the Cavaliers mid-season, he’s been a driving force, averaging an impressive 20.5 points, 7.7 assists, and 4.8 rebounds. He even recently passed Larry Bird on the all-time playoff scoring list!

With the ultimate prize – an NBA championship ring – still missing from his decorated resume, Harden’s arrival in the ‘Playoffs V10’ signals his singular focus. He’s in Cleveland to win, and this custom ride is a bold declaration of that ambition. The Cavaliers are facing the Toronto Raptors in the first round, and Harden is stepping up as the veteran leader they need.

The Details of the ‘Playoffs V10’

    • Exterior: All white.
    • Grille: Teal and blue illuminated, matching the Harden Vol. 10.
    • Interior: White and baby blue leather with red accent stitching.
    • Player’s Outfit: All-white linen with matching blue sneakers.

This unique collaboration between automotive design and signature footwear is a rare moment where a player’s personal brand is so vividly represented. It’s a powerful statement that James Harden has arrived in Cleveland with a clear mission.

  • Rolls-Royce Unveils ‘Project Nightingale’

Rolls-Royce, a name synonymous with unparalleled luxury and craftsmanship, is pushing the boundaries of automotive exclusivity with its new invite-only program: the Coachbuild Collection. The first model to emerge from this initiative is the breathtaking ‘Project Nightingale,’ a bespoke masterpiece designed to be utterly unique.

    The Art of Coachbuilding Reimagined

The Coachbuild Collection allows select global clients to commission one-of-a-kind luxury vehicles, meticulously assembled with custom specifications and engineering tailored to their individual tastes. Each model created through this program will be a singular work of art, never to be replicated.

Named after the Le Rossignol estate near co-founder Henry Royce’s French Riviera winter home, ‘Project Nightingale’ draws inspiration from the 1920s “EX” experimental motor cars, infused with Art Deco and Streamline Moderne design principles. This open-top, two-seater marvel shares its electric powertrain with the Spectre and commands attention with its massive 24-stalk Pantheon grille and unique 24-inch rims that evoke yacht propellers.

    Bespoke Details and Unrivaled Luxury

Inside, ‘Project Nightingale’ offers an experience of pure opulence. The cabin features a full-leather interior, a 10,500-star headliner, and an exclusive color palette. Hand-stitched details, exotic veneers, fine leathers, precious metals, and soothing illumination combine to create an environment of refined luxury.

Coachbuilding, in essence, is the automotive equivalent of haute couture – a highly personalized creation process. Rolls-Royce, with over a century of coachbuilding heritage, has recently reignited this craft. Following the 2017 Sweptail and the $28 million yacht-inspired Boatail in 2021, the V12-powered Droptail arrived two years later, showcasing unique roadster design cues.

    Exclusivity and Client Involvement

The exclusivity of ‘Project Nightingale’ is further amplified by its limited production. Only 100 models will be built at Rolls-Royce’s expanded factory in Goodwood, England. It’s speculated that approximately one-third of these will be allocated to the U.S., with an estimated price tag between $4 million and $5 million.

Clients involved in the Coachbuild Collection have the unique opportunity to follow their vehicle’s entire development process, including visits to Rolls-Royce facilities and testing procedures. Unfortunately, the build capacity for ‘Project Nightingale’ has already been reached, making it unattainable for new clients.

As always, the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy hood emblem, named after actress Eleanor Velasco Thornton, leads the way, embodying the motion and elegance that define a Rolls-Royce. ‘Project Nightingale’ and the Coachbuild Collection reaffirm Rolls-Royce’s position as a leader in bespoke luxury automobiles.

What do you think of Rolls-Royce’s ‘Project Nightingale’ and the concept of coachbuilding? Would you commission a bespoke vehicle if you had the chance? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
