The wait is officially over for fans of Vince Gilligan’s distinctive storytelling! Apple TV+ has just released the first two episodes of “Pluribus,” the bold new drama series from the mastermind behind “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul.” And if you’re expecting something extraordinary, you won’t be disappointed.
A World-Saving Mission with a Twist
Starring the incredibly talented, Emmy-nominated Rhea Seehorn, “Pluribus” embarks on a genre-bending journey with a premise that’s as intriguing as it is unexpected. The series follows the most miserable person on Earth who is tasked with saving the world… from happiness. Yes, you read that correctly – this is not your typical hero’s journey.
Seehorn, who captivated audiences as Kim Wexler, once again proves her acting prowess in this ambitious new role. The nine-episode Apple Original series also features a stellar supporting cast, including Karolina Wydra, Carlos Manuel Vesga, Miriam Shor, Samba Schutte, and more, promising powerful performances across the board.
Where and When to Watch
You can start watching “Pluribus” right now! The first two episodes are available for streaming exclusively on Apple TV+. New episodes will be released every Friday through December 26, so you can dive deep into this captivating story week by week.
And for those who get hooked (which seems likely!), there’s good news: “Pluribus” has already been renewed for a second season, ensuring that this mind-bending narrative will continue to unfold.
Behind the Scenes: Creative Powerhouse
This series is backed by serious creative talent. Vince Gilligan serves as an executive producer, alongside “Better Call Saul” alum Gordon Smith and a dedicated team including Alison Tatlock, Diane Mercer, Allyce Ozarski, Jeff Frost, Jenn Carroll, and Trina Siopy. Produced by Sony Pictures Television, “Pluribus” is in excellent hands when it comes to compelling storytelling.
