  • MLB Releases 2026 All-Star Week Schedule in Philadelphia

Get ready for a star-studded celebration of baseball! Major League Baseball, in conjunction with the Philadelphia Phillies, has officially released the schedule for the highly anticipated 2026 All-Star Week. This year’s festivities, taking place from July 10 to July 14, will be held in Philadelphia, a city steeped in American history, coinciding with the nation’s 250th anniversary.

    A Week of Baseball Festivities

The 96th Midsummer Classic is set to be played at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies. This marks a significant return to Philadelphia, as the city last hosted the All-Star Game 50 years ago in 1976, during the country’s bicentennial celebration at the old Veterans Stadium. Jeremiah Yolkut, MLB Senior Vice President of Global Operations & Events, highlighted the added significance of the event, stating, “As the nation marks its 250th anniversary, MLB All-Star Week in Philadelphia carries added significance, bringing one of America’s most iconic pastimes to the city where the country’s story began.”

The week kicks off with the HBCU Swingman Classic on Friday, July 10, followed by the All-Star Futures Game and the MLBx All-Star 3-on-3 on Sunday, July 12. The excitement builds on Monday, July 13, with the T-Mobile Home Run Derby during Gatorade All-Star Workout Day, culminating in the main event, the All-Star Game presented by Mastercard, on Tuesday, July 14.

    Celebrating HBCU Culture and Talent

A key highlight of the week is the HBCU Swingman Classic, co-created by MLB Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. This event provides a national platform for student-athletes from Division I programs at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to showcase their skills. Now in its fourth year, the classic celebrates HBCU culture through music, entertainment, and ceremonies, and will air live on MLB.TV.

Other events scheduled throughout the week include the All-Star Commissioner’s Cup, the Jennie Finch Classic presented by ARM & HAMMER, the Capital One All-Star Village, and the MLB Draft presented by Nippon Express. The All-Star Red Carpet Show on July 14 will offer fans a chance to see players arrive in style before the main game.
