Well, well, well, it looks like another celebrity feud is brewing on the internet! Rapper Rick Ross is currently in a public back-and-forth with an Instagram model named Nardose Mesfin, who leaked what she claims are his “thirsty” direct messages. But Rozay isn’t taking it lying down – he’s come back with his own set of receipts!
The DM Drama Unfolds
It all started when Nardose Mesfin posted a screenshot on her Instagram Story showing a message from Rick Ross that read, “You are mine.” She framed it as a public service announcement, warning other women about the intentions of celebrities and rappers, suggesting that attention from them doesn’t always translate to genuine respect or value.
Mesfin further elaborated, implying that many women are flattered by DMs from famous men but that these interactions often leave them feeling used and traumatized, with little to show for it. She even suggested that seeking financial support from wealthy white men might be more beneficial, as she believes Black men in the industry tend to “use you and throw you away.”
Rick Ross Fires Back with ‘Receipts’
However, Rick Ross, never one to shy away from a confrontation, quickly refuted her claims. He reposted her screenshot with a caption calling her out, stating, “This no going to [cap emoji] heaven.” Ross then presented his own evidence, suggesting that Mesfin has been trying to get his attention since at least 2022, even tagging him in posts as early as 5:00 a.m. on the day she posted her story.
In a direct message exchange with Mesfin, which he also shared, Ross called her a “Goofy bad body [clown emoji].” He added on his Instagram Story, “I do have a certain vibe, and she not it.” The MMG boss is essentially accusing her of lying and trying to shame him publicly while being the one who initiated contact.
The Online Reaction
The internet, as always, had plenty to say. Some sided with Rick Ross, calling out Mesfin for seemingly trying to gain clout by flexing attention from famous men. However, she stood her ground, doubling down on her message and arguing that the man was claiming ownership over her, while she was simply sharing her experience. She even dissed Ross, calling him “community d***” and stating she has “bigger names in my DMs.”
This whole exchange highlights the complexities of online interactions and the blurred lines between public personas and private messages. It remains to be seen if this drama will escalate further, but for now, it’s a classic case of celebrity he-said-she-said.
