  • J. Prince Jr. & Finesse2Tymes Clash Over Contract

It looks like there’s some serious drama brewing in the music industry! J. Prince Jr. and rapper Finesse2Tymes are currently trading shots on social media, and it’s all centered around Finesse2Tymes’ contract with Prince Jr.’s record label, Mob Ties.

    A Public Contract Dispute

Finesse2Tymes has been vocal for months about wanting out of his deal with Mob Ties, which J. Prince Jr. founded in 2017. The rapper has gone as far as to compare his treatment to slavery, expressing frustration that his talent is being wasted. He’s even stated he no longer wants to release an album under the label.

In a recent Instagram post, J. Prince Jr. decided to clap back, trolling Finesse2Tymes about his physical appearance. He captioned the post, “Not a n***a that got lipo, his titties done and a tummy tuck talking about some hair. I think you need to go back cuh, that bad b*tch energy ain’t work.”

    Finesse2Tymes’ Plea for Release

Finesse2Tymes didn’t stay silent for long and popped up in the comments to retort, “Ahh mane the difference between the and u is, I accept who I am, u don’t.” Fans rallied around the rapper, with many urging J. Prince Jr. to simply release him from his contract, suggesting it would prevent further issues.

This isn’t the first time Finesse2Tymes has publicly aired his grievances. Back in January, he shared a lengthy video demanding his release, stating, “Let me go, Junior. We done already made all the money we can make. I don’t want to go to another label with you. I love you. But I no longer want to be Mob Ties, business-wise.” He’s also compared the deal to slavery, lamenting that artists with less success seem to have better opportunities.

    A Heated Exchange

The public spat highlights the often-turbulent relationship between artists and record labels. While J. Prince Jr. resorts to personal insults, Finesse2Tymes continues to focus on his desire for freedom from what he perceives as an unfair contract. It remains to be seen how this dispute will ultimately be resolved.
