It appears Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rap superstar Eminem, is once again facing legal troubles. This comes just days after she entered a no-contest plea to charges related to impaired driving and failing to report an accident.
Another DUI Suspected
According to Chesterfield Township PD Detective Sergeant Joseph Field, Scott was arrested on Wednesday night on suspicion of driving under the influence. The incident reportedly occurred around 9 PM near the 21 Mile Zone in Michigan, where she allegedly struck a parked car.
Scott was subsequently taken to the Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, and booked. Reports indicate she has since been released. This latest arrest follows closely on the heels of her previous legal issues.
A Pattern of Legal Issues
The original charges Scott pleaded no contest to involved a similar scenario. She reportedly crashed into a parked car while her son and three friends were passengers. Following the collision, she allegedly drove home and crashed into her garage. Police noted the presence of liquor bottles in the car and administered a breathalyzer test at the scene.
