It was supposed to be a night of music and fun, but for streamer Cuffem, a Playboi Carti concert turned into a medical emergency. While attending the Antagonist 2.0 tour stop in Sunrise, Florida, on November 16th, Cuffem suffered a serious injury after falling through a railing.
A Night Cut Short
Cuffem was reportedly enjoying the show alongside fellow streamers Adin Ross and DJ Akademiks at the Amerant Bank Arena. In a clip circulating online, Cuffem can be seen vibing to the music before suddenly falling over a railing behind him. While Adin Ross also took a spill, Cuffem appeared to bear the brunt of the fall.
Adin Ross later provided an update from the hospital, expressing his concern. “Unfortunate as f*ck, I’ll be real, man,” Ross said. “I’ma be in the hospital with him until at least I get an update. I’m not leaving his side, bro.” He confirmed that Cuffem sustained a significant head injury, with “blood everywhere,” and that surgery might be necessary.
Prayers and Updates
Ross assured viewers that Cuffem would be okay but emphasized the severity of the injury. “He might need surgery because, listen, his head is cut open right now. It’s cut open. It’s blood everywhere,” he stated, before asking for prayers for Cuffem. As of now, further details on Cuffem’s condition are pending, and it’s unclear if he will speak out about the incident himself.
This incident highlights the potential dangers at live events, even when just enjoying the music. We send our best wishes to Cuffem for a speedy and full recovery.
Playboi Carti’s Antagonist Tour
The concert was part of Playboi Carti’s Antagonist 2.0 tour, a highly anticipated run with his Opium crew. The show on November 16th was one of the final dates before the tour’s conclusion. Carti is scheduled to wrap up the tour in early December.
