    It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Eminem becoming a grandfather for the first time, and now the legendary rapper has another reason to smile! His adopted daughter, Alaina Scott, has welcomed her own bundle of joy, making Eminem a grandpa once again.

    A New Grandchild Joins the Family

    Alaina Scott and her husband, Matt Moeller, announced the arrival of their baby girl, Scottie Marie Moeller, earlier this week. The little one was born on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. This happy news follows the arrival of Eminem’s first grandchild, a son born to his biological daughter Hailie Jade last year.

    Alaina shared a touching message on Instagram, expressing her overwhelming love for her daughter. “my heart outside my body, she’s everything and more,” she wrote. She also explained the significance of the name Scottie, honoring her mother Dawn Scott, who was the sister of Eminem’s ex-partner Kim. Alaina expressed her hope that her daughter will give the name her own meaning and always feel loved by her family.

    Family Ties and Eminem’s Role

    For those who might not know, Eminem adopted Alaina Scott in the early 2000s. His relationship with Kim Scott, Alaina’s mother’s sister, led to the birth of their biological daughter Hailie Jade in 1995. Eminem also adopted Kim’s other daughter, Stevie Laine Scott, in 2005. Despite past ups and downs, the family remains supportive of each other.

  • NC Grandfather, Election Official Arrested for Spiking Ice Cream

    A shocking incident has emerged from North Carolina, where James Edwin Yokeley Jr., a grandfather and former election official, has been arrested. He is accused of allegedly spiking his granddaughters’ ice cream with illegal narcotics, leading to serious charges and his subsequent resignation.

    The Incident at Dairy Queen

    According to reports, Yokeley Jr. approached a police officer at a Sheetz gas station to report that his two young granddaughters had found “hard objects” in their ice cream. However, an investigation revealed that Yokeley Jr. himself had purchased the ice cream from a Dairy Queen and allegedly placed pills containing cocaine and MDMA into each of his granddaughters’ servings. Fortunately, the children did not ingest the substances.

    Footage from the Dairy Queen location reportedly corroborated these allegations, showing Yokeley Jr. tampering with the ice cream.

    Charges, Bond, and Resignation

    Yokeley Jr. was arrested and booked on suspicion of contaminating food with a controlled substance and felony child abuse. He also faces charges for possession of a Schedule I narcotic. He was transported to the New Hanover County Detention Center and later posted a $100,000 secured bond.

    Following the accusations, Yokeley Jr. resigned from his position as chairman of the Surry County Board of Elections on August 28th. In his resignation letter, he maintained his innocence, stating he was “falsely accused” and expressed confidence in being “exonerated of all accusations.”
