  • Yungeen Ace Drops Diss Track on Foolio & Mom

The rap world is buzzing, and not necessarily for the right reasons. Yungeen Ace has officially released a new diss track, and it’s making waves for its controversial subject matter. The song is aimed squarely at the late rapper Foolio and, shockingly, his mother.

    A Controversial Release

This isn’t the first time Yungeen Ace has spoken out about Foolio, even after his death. Despite previously stating he would stop dissing the Jacksonville MC in July 2024, just a month later, Ace was teasing a track about his deceased rival. The song, which heavily samples Cash Cobain and Laila’s “problem,” features cold-blooded lyrics expressing a lack of remorse over Foolio’s passing.

Lines like “They mad at me that n**** died that’s not my (problem)” and “I’m getting rich off the dead like that’s my (problem)” showcase Ace’s defiant stance. The track takes an even more shocking turn when Ace seemingly targets Foolio’s mother, rapping, “When this b*tch got hit with the stick that wasn’t my (problem) / When his mom got hit with that sh*t that wasn’t my (problem).” This release comes just days after the start of Foolio’s murder trial in late October.

    Online Reactions and Foolio’s Trial

The reaction online has been swift and largely negative. Many fans have voiced their disappointment and anger, with one X user commenting, “Buzz realized his regular music wasn’t hitting so he went back to dissing the dead smh…” The sentiment highlights a frustration with Ace seemingly returning to diss tracks targeting deceased artists.

Meanwhile, the legal proceedings surrounding Foolio’s death are ongoing. Alicia Andrews, one of the five suspects, recently avoided charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. She was found guilty of manslaughter and will learn her sentence on December 8. Andrews was allegedly acting as a lookout for the orchestrated killing. The trials for the other suspects – Isiah Chance, Davion Murphy, Rashad Murphy, and Sean Gathright – are expected next spring.

    A History of Beef

This isn’t the first time Yungeen Ace has been involved in public disputes within the hip-hop community. His ongoing feud with Foolio has been a prominent storyline, and this new track adds another layer of intensity to their history. The release, despite its controversial nature, has certainly captured attention.

  • Foolio Murder Trial: Suspect Allegedly Said ‘He Need To Die’

The murder trial for Jacksonville rapper Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones, is underway, and new details are emerging from the courtroom. A key witness, an ex-friend of one of the suspects, has taken the stand, providing testimony that sheds light on the alleged plot leading to Foolio’s death.

    Disturbing Text Messages Surface

The witness, identified only as State Witness 18 for her protection, testified that she knew Alicia Andrews, one of the five suspects accused in Foolio’s murder, for over a decade. During their friendship, State Witness 18 claims Alicia sent disturbing messages, particularly concerning rival gangs in Jacksonville like KTA (Foolio’s crew) and ATK. Prosecutors presented a crucial text exchange from January 2021.

In this exchange, the two women discussed how ‘people like Jones recruit people willing to die for them.’ However, the conversation took a dark turn when Alicia allegedly sent back the chilling message: ‘he need to die.’ This statement is now a focal point for prosecutors in building their case against Andrews.

    Allegations of a Coordinated Plot

State Witness 18 also testified about Alicia Andrews’ connection to another defendant, Isaiah Chance, who is accused of being the lookout. She confirmed that Andrews knew Chance was affiliated with the ATK gang. Prosecutors believe this connection was instrumental in the alleged murder plot.

During their opening statement, prosecutors detailed how they believe Alicia Andrews played a role in setting the murder in motion. They presented evidence suggesting Andrews booked an Airbnb in Tampa, and cellphone data tracked her and Isaiah Chance traveling approximately 200 miles from Jacksonville to Tampa. Surveillance and phone records reportedly show Andrews’ device leaving the Airbnb shortly before the shooting occurred.

    A ‘Hellish Onslaught’

The prosecution described the events that followed as a ‘precisely coordinated violence of action.’ They allege that four other individuals then unleashed a barrage of gunfire into the Holiday Inn where Foolio was celebrating his 26th birthday, resulting in his death in June 2024. The trial continues as more evidence and testimony are presented.
