  • Lil Duval Questions Bow Wow’s ‘Mutt’ Freestyle Scene

Bow Wow recently dropped a nearly three-minute freestyle accompanied by a music video for Leon Thomas’s hit song “Mutt.” While the rapper likely intended to showcase his lyrical skills, one particular scene has drawn significant attention and questioning, notably from comedian Lil Duval and a portion of his fanbase.

    The Blunt-Sharing Controversy

The scene in question features Bow Wow taking a blunt directly out of another man’s mouth and smoking it himself. This action prompted a strong reaction from Lil Duval, who took to social media to address it. Duval questioned both Bow Wow’s actions and the other man’s decision to allow it, stating, “First off, Bow Wow, why you taking that blunt out that ni**a mouth? And second, pimpin, why did you let that ni**a take the blunt out of your mouth?”

Duval further emphasized his confusion by pointing out that the scene was intentionally included in the final edit, even in slow motion. He expressed his bewilderment, saying, “And this is the most important part: after y’all saw this video, you still edited and put [this scene] in the video! In slow motion! Somebody got to explain something, I don’t give a f**k. Smoking a joint with a ni**a ain’t gay, but that sh*t gay, I don’t give a f**k what y’all talking about.”

    Fan Reactions and Comparisons

Fans echoed Lil Duval’s sentiments, with many expressing disappointment and confusion. Comparisons were drawn to other artists, like Romeo, with one fan commenting, “Romeo would never.” Another user wrote, “Man bow you makin it harder for me to defend you Bro bro. I just don’t understand why son couldn’t have handed him the blunt… Or why it wasn’t a female who’s mouth he took it out of if he wanted to do that… Smh.”

However, not all reactions were negative. Some fans defended Bow Wow, questioning why others cared about the scene. “My thing is for anyone who cares ? Why do u care ? Was it your mouth ? Was it your blunt ?” one user asked, while another added, “Y’all pass blunts all the time tho. I guess he should’ve just handed it over.”
