A devastating discovery has been made in Guadalajara, Mexico, where TikTok influencer Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay, 32, and her family were found dead. The prosecutor’s office confirmed that four bodies, wrapped in plastic, were discovered inside an abandoned pickup truck in the San Andrés neighborhood. The victims were later identified as Garibay, her 36-year-old husband, and their two young children, aged 13 and 7.
A Suspected Cartel-Style Execution
Authorities are investigating the incident as a potential cartel-style execution. Surveillance footage traced the abandoned truck back to a nearby auto repair shop, where investigators reportedly found bloodstains, shell casings, and other ballistic evidence. This suggests the family may have been killed at that location before their bodies were moved.
While three men working at a mechanic shop near the truck’s abandonment site were taken into custody, they were later released due to insufficient evidence. The case remains open and under active investigation as authorities work to uncover the motive behind this horrific crime.
