All eyes were on LaKeith Stanfield at the world premiere of his new film, ‘Roofman,’ during the star-studded Toronto International Film Festival! The talented actor absolutely stunned in a custom Dior creation from their Spring 2026 collection, proving once again why he’s a fashion force to be reckoned with.
A Dapper Duo on the Red Carpet
Working with the renowned stylist Jason Bolden, Stanfield opted for a bold look that commanded attention on the bustling red carpet. The ensemble, complete with eye-catching shoes, was a true fashion moment. He wasn’t alone, though! His wife, Kasmere Trice Stanfield, complemented his dapper style with her own elegant look, making it one of the most aesthetically pleasing moments of the festival.
Stanfield also took time to mingle with his co-stars, posing for photos with Channing Tatum, Kirsten Dunst, and Juno Temple. He even stopped to show some love to the fans who came out to support the film.
About the Film ‘Roofman’
So, what’s ‘Roofman’ all about? Based on an unbelievable true story, the film follows Army veteran Jeffrey Manchester (played by Channing Tatum). After escaping prison, he lays low for six months inside a Toys “R” Us, plotting his next move. His plan? Robbing McDonald’s by cutting holes in their roofs, which earns him the nickname “Roofman.”
Things get complicated when Jeffrey falls for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mom drawn to his charm. This leads to his double life unraveling in a suspenseful game of cat and mouse filled with “unserious shenanigans.”
Behind the Scenes
Directed by Derek Cianfrance, the film also features a stellar cast including Ben Mendelsohn, Juno Temple, Melonie Diaz, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collias, Jimmy O. Yang, and Peter Dinklage. Cianfrance described the making of the comedy-drama to Variety, saying, “We dreamed as big as possible, and we were just within the edge of our means.” He saw the character of Jeff Manchester as their “North Star,” pushing boundaries just as the character did.
‘Roofman’ is set to bring its unique brand of absurdity to theaters on October 10th. Get ready for a wild ride!
