The Disturbing Email Exchange
The situation stems from a 2015 email that was part of documents recently unsealed by the U.S. Department of Justice. In the email, an unnamed individual questioned Epstein about how the Hadid sisters achieved such successful modeling careers and earned significant income. Epstein’s cryptic reply, “You know,” was followed by the suggestion that their father, Mohamed Hadid, had paid off an agency.
Epstein reportedly denied this, stating, “No,” and attributing their success to their willingness to “follow directions.” This exchange quickly circulated online, leading to criticism directed at Gigi for her initial silence on the matter.
Gigi’s Unequivocal Denial
Gigi, who is 30 years old, eventually addressed the situation in a comment on Instagram, which has since been deleted. She expressed her shock and dismay at being mentioned in such a context. “Horrible to read someone you’ve never met speak about you that way. Especially in this context,” Gigi wrote.
She was firm in her statement: “To be named in those files… is disturbing. I want to state unequivocally that I have never had any affiliation with that disgusting human being.” This clear denial aims to put an end to any speculation linking her or her sister to Epstein.
