  • Jermaine Dupri Drops ‘Magic City’ Soundtrack

Get ready to dive into the heart of Atlanta’s legendary strip club, Magic City, with a brand new soundtrack curated by none other than Jermaine Dupri! He’s bringing together a seriously impressive lineup of Atlanta’s finest to score the STARZ docuseries, ‘Magic City: An American Fantasy.’

    A Star-Studded Tribute to Atlanta

This isn’t just any soundtrack; it’s a love letter to Atlanta’s vibrant music scene and the iconic Magic City club. Dupri has enlisted a who’s who of Southern hip-hop royalty. We’re talking features from Quavo, 2 Chainz, T.I., Bow Wow, Young Dro, the late Rich Homie Quan, Ludacris, and so many more. It’s a true celebration of the culture.

The docuseries itself, co-produced by Drake’s DreamCrew Entertainment, is a five-part journey offering an unprecedented look inside one of the most unique spaces in Black culture. STARZ president Kathryn Busby described it as a ‘riveting behind-the-curtain look’ that perfectly complements their slate of ‘adult, culture-driving shows.’

More Than Just Music: A Cultural Hub

Magic City has long been more than just a strip club; it’s a critical hub for new music and a vital part of hip-hop’s flourishing in the South. The soundtrack, featuring 15 tracks, mirrors the docuseries’ exploration of this cultural significance. Many of the artists featured on the soundtrack also make appearances in the series, including Drake and Outkast’s Big Boi.

  • YSL Duke Accuses Yak Gotti of Snitching

The drama surrounding the YSL collective continues to unfold, with YSL Duke now seemingly taking aim at fellow artist Yak Gotti. In a series of explosive posts on X (formerly Twitter), Duke accused Gotti of being “weird” and cooperating with authorities, sending shockwaves through the hip-hop community.

    Accusations Fly on Social Media

Duke’s rant began with a direct accusation: “Just heard this n***a say I broke his heart… Ah n***a that was In there talking bout me like ah dog we understand you told the cops that was your gun but why tell them you gave it to me to get back at a rival (which was in my plea) those was your words smh you the weird one.”

He continued to detail the alleged betrayal, referencing a situation where Gotti apparently claimed Duke was about to shoot a firearm while driving. Duke clarified that he only saw the footage in 2023 and expressed his own hurt over the situation. He also claimed that Gotti had recently been in his DMs, attempting to mend the situation.

Fan Reactions and Broader YSL Context

When DJ Akademiks shared Duke’s posts on Instagram, fans were quick to react. Many expressed support for Gunna, who has faced his own share of scrutiny related to the YSL RICO case. Comments like “Gunna in the crib laughing hard ash run” and “Ysl all turning on eachother … WUNNA out the deal and going crazy with the music … 2025 is WILD” flooded the comment section, highlighting the ongoing internal tensions within the YSL camp.

This situation also comes on the heels of resurfaced audio from Young Thug’s police interrogation, which led to accusations of snitching against him. Thugger denied these claims, stating he was helping his associates. Peewee Roscoe also stepped in to defend Thug, asserting that he acted as a responsible citizen and kept things real.

What do you make of these accusations between YSL Duke and Yak Gotti? Do you think the YSL RICO trial is causing internal rifts? Let us know in the comments!
