  • Wack 100 Releases Alleged 42 Dugg Arrest Paperwork

It seems like old beef might be simmering back to the surface in the hip-hop world. Wack 100, known for his outspoken nature and management of artists like Blueface, has just shared what he claims are legal documents related to rapper 42 Dugg’s 2020 arrest. This move could be reigniting tensions that were thought to be resolved.

The 2020 Arrest and Legal Documents

Back in March 2020, 42 Dugg was arrested on a gun charge after allegedly firing weapons at an Atlanta gun range. This was particularly problematic because, about a decade prior, Dugg had faced convictions for carjacking and felony gun possession. Now, Wack 100 has posted alleged paperwork detailing a motion to suppress evidence and statements from that arrest.

The documents shared by Wack 100 reportedly state, “the Defendant, Dion Hayes, by and through his attorney of record, and moves to suppress all evidence seized as a result of his cell phone that was seized from his person at the time of his arrest on March 9, 2020.” Furthermore, the filing allegedly includes a motion to suppress “any and all statements made by him to federal agents in Detroit, Michigan following his arrest in this matter.”

Wack 100’s Motivation and Past Conflicts

Wack 100 posted the paperwork on Instagram, with the caption, “@teegrizzley told me why you on me when 42 is the one with the real paperwork.” He added a warning to 42 Dugg, “@42_dugggg tried to suppress his statements that he gave to the feds… Rule #1 Plead the 5th… Now Duggie Dug wtf did you tell dem people that you didn’t want us to know. Sincerely, The Posers.” It’s unclear exactly what triggered Wack 100 to release these documents now, but the implication is that he’s aiming to damage 42 Dugg’s street credibility.

This isn’t the first time Wack 100 and 42 Dugg have had public disagreements. A couple of years ago, Wack claimed Dugg was robbed by Offset after an altercation. Dugg denied this, leading to a verbal exchange between him and Wack. While Wack seemingly apologized at the time, it appears the friction between them has resurfaced.

    The Significance of Suppressing Statements

The act of moving to suppress statements made to federal agents is a common legal strategy. It suggests that the defense believes the statements were obtained improperly or in violation of the defendant’s rights, such as the right to remain silent (pleading the Fifth). By releasing these documents, Wack 100 seems to be highlighting this legal maneuver in a way that could be perceived negatively within certain circles.

While 42 Dugg has been active musically since his release from prison in late 2023, this resurfacing of past legal issues, amplified by Wack 100’s post, brings a new layer of drama to the hip-hop landscape. It remains to be seen how 42 Dugg or his team will respond to these allegations and the shared paperwork.

What are your thoughts on Wack 100 releasing these alleged documents? Do you think this will impact 42 Dugg’s reputation? Let us know in the comments!

  • 42 Dugg & Doughboy Clay Drop “It Get Deeper Pt. 3”

Get ready, Detroit hip-hop fans! One of the decade’s biggest names, 42 Dugg, is back with a new installment in his popular song series. The latest track, “It Get Deeper Pt. 3,” features the soulful and triumphant vocals of Doughboy Clay, adding a fresh layer to Dugg’s signature sound.

A Familiar Sound with Elevated Elements

If you’re a fan of 42 Dugg, you’ll recognize the raw charisma and distinctive rasp that made tracks like “We Not Done” so impactful. This new single stays true to that authentic Detroit bounce we’ve come to expect. However, “It Get Deeper Pt. 3” offers a compelling contrast, blending Dugg’s gritty delivery with the soaring, dramatic tones provided by Doughboy Clay.

The production itself is a masterclass in creating space for the artists. Rising string-like synths and subtle sampled tones provide a rich backdrop, allowing Dugg’s sharp bars and the driving drum beat to take center stage. It’s a combination that works surprisingly well, leading the track to an unexpectedly uplifting mood by its conclusion.

    Lyrical Depth and Uplifting Vibes

While “It Get Deeper Pt. 3” doesn’t represent a radical departure from 42 Dugg’s established style, it feels like one of his most inspired cuts in this vein. The lyrics touch on themes of struggle and resilience, with lines like, ‘N***as got to be crazy, talking about no more dropping fives, Like you don’t feel s**t for all the nights when we was crying.’ It’s this blend of raw emotion and confident delivery that makes the track so engaging.

I’m the type to still blow, n***a, and I’m famous — 42 Dugg

The collaboration with Doughboy Clay elevates the song, adding a layer of soulful depth that complements Dugg’s assertive presence. This track proves that even within a familiar formula, there’s room for inspired creativity and impactful storytelling.

    What’s Next for 42 Dugg?

With “It Get Deeper Pt. 3” making waves, the future looks bright for 42 Dugg. He’s known for his loyalty to his peers, so we can anticipate more fiery tracks emerging soon. Keep an eye out for what this Detroit powerhouse has in store for the rest of the year!
