Can you believe it? Supreme, the streetwear giant, is hitting a major milestone: 10 years in Paris! To celebrate this decade of influence, they’re dropping a special piece that’s sure to get collectors buzzing. But here’s the catch – you can’t snag this one online.
The ‘Tour de Force’ Hoodie: A Parisian Exclusive
Marking their 10th anniversary, Supreme is releasing a limited-edition box logo hoodie aptly named the “Tour de Force.” This isn’t just any hoodie; it’s a clean, white piece designed with a distinctly French aesthetic. It features the iconic black box logo front and center, but the real story is on the back.
The back of the hoodie proudly displays the dates “10-3-2016-2026,” commemorating the exact opening date of the Supreme Paris store a decade ago. It’s a subtle yet powerful nod to their journey, embodying Supreme’s signature minimalist approach – no unnecessary frills, just a solid anniversary collectible.
In-Store Only: The Ultimate Collector’s Challenge
Here’s where things get interesting for those outside of Paris. The “Tour de Force” hoodie is an in-store exclusive, dropping on May 7th only at the Supreme Paris location. This means if you’re not physically in the city, getting your hands on one at retail price is virtually impossible. Talk about a true test for dedicated fans!
As expected, someone has already been spotted rocking the hoodie, hinting that early releases are already circulating. But the official drop is tomorrow, first come, first served. This exclusivity is precisely what fuels the hype and the secondary market for Supreme’s store-specific items, especially anniversary box logos.
Why This Hoodie Matters
Supreme’s Paris store, located in the trendy Le Marais district, has been a cornerstone of their international presence since opening on March 10th, 2016. It perfectly embodies the brand’s ethos, sitting at the crossroads of skate culture and high fashion. The “Tour de Force” hoodie, made from heavyweight French material and featuring a French flag on the hangtag, is more than just apparel; it’s a symbol of that decade-long connection.
