Just hours after the shocking news broke that rapper Offset was shot outside a Florida casino, another significant development has emerged. Reports from DJ Akademiks suggest that fellow artist Lil Tjay is now in custody, with his detainment reportedly connected to the incident involving Offset.

From Shooting Rumors to Custody News

The initial reports about Offset’s shooting came from TMZ, detailing the event outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Soon after, DJ Akademiks shared claims that Lil Tjay had also been shot and hinted at a possible dispute over a gambling debt. This led to considerable confusion on social media, as details about Tjay’s condition were scarce.

While Offset’s representatives confirmed he was recovering in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the situation surrounding Lil Tjay remained unclear. However, DJ Akademiks has since provided an update, retracting his earlier report about Tjay being shot. Instead, the commentator now states that Tjay was not injured but is currently in custody.

According to Akademiks, Lil Tjay’s detainment is directly linked to the events that transpired involving Offset. The exact nature of this connection and the specific charges or reasons for his custody are still developing.
