  • T-Pain and Crocs Drop ‘Boots with the Fur’ Collab

T-Pain is ensuring fans can literally step into one of his most memorable lyrics. The multi-talented rapper and singer has partnered with Crocs for their annual ‘Croctober’ celebration, unveiling a bold new footwear creation: the “Unfurgettable Leopard Knee High Boots.” This unique shoe is a playful and direct nod to his unforgettable line from Flo Rida’s 2008 hit song ‘Low,’ where he famously rapped, “Shawty had them Apple Bottom jeans, boots with the fur.”

A ‘Love Letter to the Fans’ for Croctober

In the campaign visuals, T-Pain, sporting lab goggles and a stylish scientist-inspired outfit, proudly showcases the eye-catching boot. Carly Gomez, Crocs’ chief marketing officer, described the collection as “our love letter to the fans.” She emphasized the brand’s commitment to celebrating their customers’ creativity, individuality, and boldness. “They’ve always been the heartbeat of our brand, and this year, we’re celebrating their creativity, individuality, and boldness in ways they have truly only dreamed of,” Gomez stated.

October 23rd has been officially designated as “Crocs Day” to commemorate the launch. According to a press release, the “Unfurgettable Leopard Knee High Boot” is set to become Crocs’ tallest silhouette ever, reaching an impressive 35.4 inches (90 cm). The design features plush, vegan leopard-print fur, complete with Jibbitz charms, chains, and embellishments, offering multiple personalization options.

Limited Edition Drop and Fan Engagement

These limited-edition boots will be available for a short time on Crocs’ official website and at their SoHo store in New York City. The collaboration not only brings T-Pain’s iconic lyric to life but also reinforces Crocs’ strategy of engaging fans through creative, culturally relevant partnerships. Fans can revisit T-Pain and Flo Rida’s classic track ‘Low’ to fully appreciate the nostalgic connection.

This collaboration is another testament to T-Pain’s enduring influence and his ability to connect with fans through music and fashion. His recent business ventures, including the sale of his publishing catalog and masters, highlight his savvy approach to leveraging his artistic success into diverse entrepreneurial opportunities.
