Well, it looks like there’s some drama brewing in the hip-hop world! Lil Pump has gone on a fiery rant, directly accusing fellow rapper Gucci Mane of snitching. The target of Pump’s ire? Gucci Mane’s brand new track, ‘Crash Dummy.’
Accusations Fly on Instagram Stories
The Florida rapper took to Instagram Stories over the weekend, unleashing a series of videos reacting to the song that dropped just two days prior. Lil Pump claims that Gucci Mane revealed too much information about fellow artist Pooh Shiesty and a legal case referenced in the lyrics. ‘You snitched on a song, you snitched on yourself,’ Pump declared in one of the clips, calling Gucci Mane a ‘bozo.’
The situation escalated when Pump expressed his desire to get rid of the 1017 chain he received from Gucci Mane, a symbol of their past association. ‘I’ma get my 1017 chain and flush that b—h down the toilet,’ he stated emphatically.
A Blast from the Past
Pump didn’t stop there. In another video, he brought up Gucci Mane’s past attempts to sign him when he was just a teenager. ‘Gucci, you’s been a b—h, man. You’s been a b—h,’ Pump said, recalling how Gucci allegedly begged him to sign, even offering a ‘tiny-a– chain.’
The Controversial Lyrics
The song ‘Crash Dummy,’ released on April 10th, contains lyrics that seem to address an alleged robbery and kidnapping case involving Pooh Shiesty and others. Gucci Mane raps, ‘Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy.’ The track also includes the line, ‘And after all that, boy, you still signed to me,’ which has clearly added fuel to the fire.
This controversy quickly moved from the song’s lyrics to social media, sparking debate among rap fans over the weekend. The public spat between these two artists highlights the intense loyalty and scrutiny within the hip-hop community.
