  • Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker Divorce Settlement Finalized

It’s official! Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker have finalized their divorce, bringing an end to their marital chapter. After navigating months of discussions, the couple has reached a settlement that ensures a clean break, with a significant financial payout to finalize things. Let’s dive into the details of how this chapter closes.

    A Clean Break with a Six-Figure Sum

The settlement agreement means there are no ongoing child support or spousal support obligations between Kandi and Todd. Instead, Kandi has agreed to pay Todd a substantial one-time lump sum of $426,000. This hefty check effectively balances everything out and closes the financial ties between them, allowing both to move forward independently.

While the financial aspect is settled, the former couple will share joint legal and physical custody of their two children, Ace and Blaze. Kandi will retain possession of the children’s passports, but Todd will have the ability to request them for any planned international travel, ensuring co-parenting logistics are managed smoothly.

    Luxury Assets Divided

When it comes to assets, both Kandi and Todd are walking away with impressive collections. Kandi keeps several luxury vehicles, including a Bentley SUV, a Porsche Cayenne, and a classic 1963 Camaro. It seems she’s holding onto her impressive car collection.

Todd isn’t doing too badly either! He secures ownership of a G-Wagon, a Porsche 911, a Range Rover, and several vintage cars. The shared food truck business will be sold off, and details regarding other real estate holdings remain private. Additionally, Todd has been instructed to vacate Kandi’s guest home within 15 days of signing the parenting agreement, resolving that specific living arrangement.

    Finalizing the Details

Adding another layer to the financial settlement, the agreement notes that Todd previously paid Kandi $38,000 related to Atlanta Hawks season tickets, which she will retain. Ultimately, the divorce settlement appears to be meticulously divided, ensuring both parties can move forward without lingering financial obligations to each other.

  • Dulcé Sloan on Authenticity & K-Dramas

Dulcé Sloan, the Emmy Award-winning comedian and former correspondent for “The Daily Show,” is a force of authenticity in the entertainment world. At the recent BlerDCon 2026, she sat down with MadameNoire to discuss her passion for Korean dramas, her commitment to staying true to herself, and her dedication to uplifting Black women.

Unapologetically Herself: The Key to Authenticity

When asked about maintaining authenticity in a competitive industry, Sloan’s response was refreshingly straightforward: “I don’t know how to be anybody else.” This genuine approach permeates her work, including her popular podcast, “Chasing K-Dramas.”

On “Chasing K-Dramas,” Sloan and co-host Chrissy Choi dive deep into the world of Korean television, dissecting popular shows like “Marry My Husband” and “Dynamite Kiss.” They explore characters, plot twists, and the emotional journeys that make K-dramas so captivating. Sloan’s love for the genre dates back to her teenage years in Atlanta, where she discovered the shows on a local Korean station, appreciating their grounded and authentic storytelling.

Creating Space for Black Fandom at BlerDCon

Sloan and Choi intentionally brought “Chasing K-Dramas” to BlerDCon, recognizing the significant presence of Black women within the K-drama fandom. “The reason I brought it to BlerDCon is because a large audience for Korean drama is women of color, especially Black women,” Sloan explained. She aimed to create a space where Black fans could connect over their shared passion, noting that for a long time, many felt they had no one else to discuss these interests with, unlike more established fandoms like anime within the Black community.

She finds the “Black joy” evident at BlerDCon—where people can freely express themselves through cosplay without judgment—to be both refreshing and beautiful. Sloan emphasized the freedom of celebrating fictional characters without external validation, stating, “We’re all dressed as fictional characters, so what does it matter?” For newcomers to K-dramas, Sloan recommends the hit series “Queen of Tears” as a great starting point.

Championing Black Women and Celebrating History

Beyond her fandom discussions, Sloan is a vocal advocate for Black women. During Women’s History Month, she humorously reacted to the existence of Black Women’s History Month in April, joking, “Oh, y’all never should have told me. I get a whole another month — I’m about to be a problem.”

Her commitment extends to public discourse, where she encourages Black women to recognize their own beauty and value. Sloan also offered a perspective on activism, suggesting that the absence of Black people from certain protests can sometimes be beneficial, preventing escalation. “We’re doing you a favor by staying home,” she quipped, highlighting a nuanced view on engagement and impact.
