BOSSIP knows how to throw a party, and their inaugural Summer Soirée in Atlanta was no exception! The event, held at Spaceman Atlanta, was a vibrant celebration of Black excellence, honoring three incredible women who are making waves and breaking barriers in their respective fields: Taylor Polidore-Williams, Ami McClure, and Lore’l.
Introducing the Inaugural ‘BOSSIP Baes’
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the first-ever “BOSSIP Baes” awards, recognizing women who are unapologetically themselves and leaving a significant impact. The room buzzed with energy, filled with industry tastemakers, talented actors, and a host of beautiful and influential guests.
Actress Taylor Polidore-Williams was honored as the Leading Lady Bae. BOSSIP’s Managing Editor, Dani Canada, praised her for embodying powerful roles and representing Black excellence in Hollywood, stating, “Taylor is proof that the leading lady role isn’t just something you play — it’s something you embody.”
Digital Powerhouse and Media Maven Honored
Digital powerhouse Ami McClure was celebrated as the Social Superstar Bae. Canada highlighted how McClure has built a platform that is not only visually stunning but also uplifting, inspiring, and globally connecting. “Whether she’s dropping gems about motherhood, business, or just living fabulously, Ami is a true digital powerhouse,” Canada added.
Rounding out the honorees was media force Lore’l, who received the Media Maven Bae award for her sharp, witty, and fearless voice that shapes cultural conversations. Canada noted, “When it comes to having your finger on the pulse of the culture, Lore’l stays ten steps ahead and ten toes down. From radio to podcasts to TV, her voice is sharp, witty, and unafraid.”
A Night of Celebration and Connection
The event featured a mouthwatering menu, including NY strip steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and a variety of appetizers. Specialty cocktails like the BOSS Sip, Thirst Trap margarita, and Lychee BAE-tini kept the spirits high. Guests mingled and celebrated, with notable attendees including rapper Duke Deuce, singer Jerrilyn Lake, attorney Jasmine Robinson, and influencers like Supapeach and Taylor “Hungry Homegirl” Paige.
DJ Wally Sparks kept the energy flowing throughout the night, making the BOSSIP Summer Soirée a true testament to the brand’s commitment to celebrating the creators of culture. Congratulations to Taylor Polidore-Williams, Ami McClure, and Lore’l on their well-deserved honors!
