Get ready for an in-depth look at the life of a hip-hop mogul! Following his recent headlines surrounding a docuseries about his rival Diddy, 50 Cent is now stepping into the spotlight himself with a brand-new docuseries ordered by Hulu.
From Queens to Global Dominance
This upcoming three-part series promises to take viewers on an intimate journey, exploring how Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson rose from the streets of Queens, New York, to achieve massive global cultural dominance. It’s set to offer a revealing look at his remarkable career and life.
The project will be helmed by director Mandon Lovett, who has a solid track record with documentaries like ‘Boys In Blue,’ ‘Origins Of Hip Hop,’ and ‘The French Montana Story: For Khadija.’ While an official title and release date are still under wraps, fans have plenty to anticipate.
Generosity Beyond the Music
The news of the Hulu docuseries comes shortly after 50 Cent made significant charitable contributions. He recently donated a total of $500,000 to various nonprofit organizations in the Shreveport/Bossier City area of Louisiana. These funds were earned from his involvement with ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’.
The donations are earmarked to support victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. 50 Cent stated, “I said I would donate proceeds to domestic violence and to sexual assault victims, and I keep my word.” He expressed his fondness for Shreveport as the location for these impactful donations.
It is a commitment that he made when he chose Shreveport, Louisiana. It is nice for us to have economic development, but in that process, too, we need to make sure people are whole. — Councilwoman Tabatha Taylor
This philanthropic move underscores a commitment 50 Cent has made, resonating with local officials who praised the gesture for its positive impact on the community, balancing economic development with essential social support.
